This one’s really easy. Let’s imagine you’re on a web page with loads of text on it and it seems to go on for ever. For whatever reason, you’re looking for a particular words or sequence of characters.
The solution? Simply hit <CTRL> i.e. the CRTL key and “F” at the same time.
This invokes the “Find” command … and (depending on which browser you’re using), should open up a little search box, whereupon you can search the page for your word, phrase or mixture of characters.
If the search word is indeed on the page, the browser will highlight the various instances of it, thus saving you going cross-eyed.
